I just got a moment of inspiration and just wanted to write to remind everyone that everything will be OK. No matter what you’re going through right now in life, no matter how tough or endless it may seem, no matter if it seems like everyone and everything is against you, everything is going to be ok. Everything will work out for you the way it’s supposed to.
Life is one big roller coaster. You’re going to go through some amazing times and moments, and you’re going to go through some of the darkest and worst times ever. Keep in mind that those moments, good and bad, is preparing you for where you’re going to go next. In the process, you’re going to be tested to show how strong you are, mentally and physically. You’re going to be shown how you deal with a situation and how to handle it better the next time. You’re going to be shown who really is there for you in your life and who isn’t. When you reach the next destination that you’re headed, you’re going to feel like a completely different person, and that’s part of the growing process.
The past month or so has been rough for me. I’ve had moments in my life where I couldn’t comprehend why the things that were happening were happening. At the end of March, I got laid off from my job. At that time, I thought things were over. I kept thinking to myself, “I have only been back to work and back on my feet for merely three months, and then this happens. Why?”
Well, as the saying goes, when one door closes, another one opens. And although I felt lost and had no idea what was in store for me next, I kept a little glimmer of hope in the back of my mind that I was going to get something better. I kept reminding myself that everything happens for a reason, and that this is probably a blessing in disguise more than anything.
Long story short, I have been presented with a great opportunity and I couldn’t be happier. Those times I went through ended up being worth it. I also now feel like I’ve learned and grown so much within a month and a half. I’m so ready to embark on this new chapter in life.
Moral of the story is, everything will be ok. Just keep your head up, keep working hard, never give up, and be kind to others. It may be tough now and it may not seem like it’s going to end, but just remember that there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel.
